Directions to the Bill Cummings (south) launch, East Potrillo Mountains -- Take Exit 8 on I-10 (Artcraft
Road/Pete Domenici Hwy 136/178) and go west and, after a few miles,
south for a total of 9.5 miles. Make a right on Hwy 9 (the road to Columbus,
NM) and go 16 1/4 miles west and make a right on County Rd
A08 (dirt). Go north .5 miles and make a left on County Rd A03 and
go .95 miles and make a right. It is about 1.75 miles through the
desert and up the west face of the hill to launch on the ridge. It
is 4 wheel drive access only.
