PG and PPG Tandem Flights - The answer for those who do not wish to fly solo the first time and wish to get a modest idea of what paragliding is all about.

$225 for a 45 minute flight

A properly qualified and licensed instructor flies with a passenger who may have little or no experience in flying a paraglider.  Tandems may be launched with auxiliary power (powered tandems) from a flat field or without power from a mountain launch site.  The mountain launch is more difficult and personally challenging to the passenger.  It must be done at a time when winds aloft are calm or light.  We recommend those interested in a tandem flight to do a powered flight for reasons of convenience and safety.  We do powered launches from a sod farm located in Santa Teresa, NM.  If conditions are right, we can stop the power while in the air and give the passenger the closest idea what paragliding without power is like.  Extended tandem flights are also available.  Often, the novelty of personal flight results in the passenger becoming disoriented, especially when launching.  Taking a tandem flight helps with the effects of this as the passenger does relatively little during the launching and landing process. Please allow approximately (2) hours for both the flight,  and setup.  The passenger must be prepared to run during both the launch and when landing.
